An 8lb 4oz thorneback ray bagged by Kai Sutherland was the highlight when members of Southampton SAC held a shore competition on the Browndown ranges.
Spotted rays, pout, whiting and bass also figured in the catch.
Sutherland won the event with 9lb 8oz followed by Bill Baynes (6lb 4oz) and Chris Barnes (2lb 12oz).
