ANOTHER ten-year-old based at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club has recorded a half-century break in tournament play.
Jamie Wilson’s magic moment came in the first frame of the Open Series plate final at Chandler’s Ford Snooker Club.
As he sunk the pink for 52, Wilson, above, punched the air with both fists and high-fived his 50-something opponent, Mark Beebe.
Remarkably, the black was stuck on a cushion and out of commission throughout the break.
However, the Portsmouth potter lost the next two frames for a 2-1 defeat.
Last December, Wilson’s ten-year-old clubmate, Mickey Joyce, compiled a 54 in the Eastleigh & District Under-13 League.
