Saints are set for a reunion with a host of former players when they visit Millwall tonight.

The Lions boast three ex-Southampton members in their ranks – Richard Chaplow, Ricardo Fuller and Scott McDonald.

All three could feature against their old club as Saints visit The Den for the second-round contest.

Millwall have started the Championship season well, taking ten points from their first five matches, although they did suffer a 1-0 home defeat to Rotherham at the weekend.

Manager Ian Holloway is expected to make sweeping changes to the side that started that game, and he says that, whatever the line-ups are, Saints will be favourites.

“I don’t care what they do, they should beat us,” he said. “It’s a multi-million pound company.

“They’ve done brilliantly. They’ve recovered from rebuilding that ground, they’ve recovered from going down two divisions.

“Their academy set-up is the best in the world, apart from Barcelona.

“This year, they’ve only lost to Liverpool.

“Good luck to Koeman, although not against us. I would like to pay them massive respect because of the wonderful job they have done.”

Holloway has few injury concerns ahead of tonight’s match, although midfielder Nick Bailey is out for three weeks with an ankle injury.
