SOUTHAMPTON’S reward for beating Millwall in the Capital One Cup is another tough away tie, this time to fellow Premier League outfit Arsenal.
Ronald Koeman will match wits against the division’s longest-serving manager Arsene Wenger when his side return to London next month for the Third Round tie.
But while Saints have already shown they are taking the competition seriously by fielding a strong line-up in the 2-0 victory over Millwall on Tuesday night, their opponents may have other priorities after successfully negotiating their way into the group stages of the Champions League last night.
Bournemouth travel to Cardiff for their match, but Portsmouth are out after defeat at Stoke.
