West Brom's deadly forward combination of Diomansy Kamara and ex-Saints favourite Kevin Phillips propelled the Baggies side to victory in their FA Cup fourth-round derby against Wolves at Molineux this afternoon.
Former Pompey star Kamara's pace posed problems throughout to the home back four - and he gave Albion the lead with his 15th goal of the campaign and his seventh in his last nine games.
Then the evergreen Phillips, in a rich vein of form, effectively killed off the contest early in the second period with his 12th strike so far this season - also his seventh in his last nine outings.
Substitute Zoltan Gera completed the scoring only a couple of minutes after being brought on.
