THE price of watching football at Saints is higher than the Premier League average.
Saints’ cheapest adult season ticket price (£541) for the current season is more expensive than the league average (£508.55).
Only five clubs have a more expensive cheaper season ticket price – West Ham (£620), Liverpool (£710), Chelsea (£750), Tottenham (£765) and Arsenal (£1,014).
Saints’ most expensive season ticket was £853, compared to the most expensive anywhere in the Premier League - again, Arsenal’s at a staggering £2,013.
The club’s cheapest adult match-day ticket (£32) is also higher than the league average of £28.80.
The annual BBC Price of Football survey also reveals the average cheapest day out at a Premier League club – comprising the cheapest adult seat price, a programme, pie and cup of tea – is £37.44. 
Saints’ is £42.50.
Saints have the most expensive programme in the top flight at £4, the joint most expensive pies (£4) and the joint most expensive cup of tea (£2.50).
A Saints adult replica shirt costs £50, compared the the league average of £47.40.
