Dusan Tadic can still get 20 per cent better according to Saints boss Ronald Koeman.
The Serbian playmaker has arguably been the star turn of a fantastic start to the season for Saints.

However, Koeman is trying to convince Tadic to add more goals to his prolific assist rate.
Koeman said: “He’s on a very high level but I think still there is maybe around 20 per cent to be that player that he can be.
“I spoke this morning to him and said: ‘OK, sometimes you have to be a little more egotistic and not look always to give the assist.’ “Against Hull he had the ball at his feet around the box and he played that ball to Steven Davis, but that’s the moment to shoot and he has a fantastic left.
“He can score more goals, I know because he has that quality.”
Tadic has been nominated for October’s Player of the Month Award.
The Serbian faces competition for the Premier League award from Sergio Aguero of Manchester City, Everton’s Leighton Baines, Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, West Brom’s Saido Berahino and Diafra Sakho from West Ham United.
The £11m signing has been in sensational form for Saints, with his haul of four assists and a goal during the team’s record-breaking 8-0 romp against Sunderland.
The winner of the award will be announced in the coming days. Last month, Saints enjoyed double success in the Player and Manager of the month awards, with Graziano Pelle and Ronald Koeman winning the trophies.
“He’s a nice guy, he’s friendly, he knows what he has to do to reach that high level,” added Koeman.
“He’s working a lot off on his fitness to have a good physical shape and to prepare for the game on Saturday.
“That’s Tadic, but I can say the same about the rest of the players.”
Goals from midfield have been key for Saints this season and it’s something Koeman has been working on with his team.
“We do a lot of finishing and not only finishing with the attackers or the forwards but with the defenders and with the midfield players,” he revealed.
“I gave the midfield players a lot of freedom. I like to have a good rotation between them and they have to score. The more players who can score the more difficult for the opponent to have a good defence.
“That is maybe the difference between last season that Morgan (Schneiderlin), Victor (Wanyama), Jack Cork are scoring more goals than in the past.”
