Saints playmaker Dusan Tadic has missed out on winning the Barclays Premier League player of the month award for October.
The midfield ace was one of six players shortlisted for the honour, but he did not come out on top, with the judging panel opting to hand the prize to West Ham’s Diafra Sakho.
Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, Everton’s Leighton Baines, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and West Brom’s Saido Berahino had also been nominated.
West Ham’s Sam Allardyce was named manager of the month for October.
