To coincide with Remembrance Sunday, this weekend’s Sports Pink is taking a look back at the impact the First World War had on Saints.
This year marked the centenary of the start of the conflict, in which 19 men who played for the club died.
With the help of Saints’ official historians, we touch on some of the stories of tragedy and bravery, as well as the overall effect the war had on the club.
Also in this weekend’s Sports Pink will be full coverage of Saints’ Premier League match against Leicester City, as Ronald Koeman’s men look to hold on to second place in the table.
We will have photos from the game, as well as an extensive report and post-match reaction.
There will also be plenty of additional Saints content, including moore from this week’s opening of the club’s £39m revamped training ground, as well as all the latest non-league news and results.
The Sports Pink is now available to read on your iPhone, iPad or online! The latest edition goes live every Saturday night.
