THE inaugural Romsey and District Sports Awards will celebrate the region’s sporting talent tonight.
Organised by Valley Leisure, which runs The Rapids in Romsey, in partnership with the Romsey Advertiser, the Daily Echo and David Wilson Homes, the awards attracted 46 different nominations across 11 categories.
Neil Barker, of Valley Leisure, said: “Who knew there was so much sporting talent in our region? We look forward to celebrating the many fantastic achievements.”
The 2014 sporting achievements of individuals and clubs in and around Romsey will be celebrated from 7pm at Crosfield Hall.
