SAINTS will not be able to recall Artur Boruc from his loan spell at Bournemouth to cover for the injured Fraser Forster.
The club are still waiting to determine how long their number-one keeper will be sidelined for, after he suffered a serious-looking knee injury in yesterday's 2-0 win against Burnley, but he is likely to face some time out.
Saints' previous first-choice stopper, Boruc, is currently on loan at Championship leaders Bournemouth until the end of the campaign.
But the Poland international, whose St Mary's contract expires this summer, is on a normal window-to-window loan and is unable to be called back.
Regardless, Saints are understood to be happy to continue with Kelvin Davis in the absence of Forster, especially following the inspired performance the 38-year-old produced off the bench against the Clarets.
