George Burley insists Saints won't change their style of play ... despite the prospect of playing relegation-haunted Luton on a dreadful pitch.
Saints have heard stories about how bad the playing surface is.
But comments from the Luton end suggest they may not realise the half of it.
Add to that the fact that Kenilworth Road is a small, tight ground - and that Saints have already lost at two of those this season at Colchester and Southend - and it's clear the team must not be lulled into a false sense of complacency after last week's 6-0 drubbing of Wolves.
Burley is preparing his side for a totally different type of match but says Saints won't compromise their passing philosophy against a side who have only won once in 16 league games.
He said: "These types of stadiums and pitches make it more difficult to play passing football and that's our style.
"We're not going to change that but what we've got to do is show the commitment that we did last Saturday.
"A lot of times this season we've played better than we did last Saturday as far as passing the ball is concerned, but didn't win the game".
