KENWYNE Jones is in contention to return to the Saints attack at Birmingham City on Saturday - and Leon Best's foot injury is not as bad as first feared.
Saints manager George Burley revealed the double dose of good news yesterday as he targets the three wins from four games he believes are needed to qualify for the play-offs.
Trinidad & Tobago international Jones has not played since the 3-1 defeat at Preston a month ago but has returned to training, while an x-ray at the Nuffield Hospital, Southampton yesterday revealed that Best, 20, did not suffer a fractured foot in the Bank Holiday Monday defeat at home to Sunderland.
