George Burley has called on Saints fans to stay behind the team right to the last kick.

The Saints boss is hoping supporters will turn out in force and in good voice at St Mary's on Saturday.

Anything other than three points against Leeds will almost certainly spell the end of Saints' promotion chances.

Victory could put them right back in the play-off picture.

Leeds have becoming the first club to visit St Mary's this season to sell their entire 3,200 ticket allocation and are expected to make plenty of noise as they battle for their Championship survival.

That will make the support of the Saints fans even more vital.

Burley said: "It's a crucial game for us. There's three games left and we need to win them all.

"We've got two home and one away and they're all winnable.

"We need all the help we can get from the fans at a very important crunch time.

"We need everybody from start to finish to keep behind the team.

"At this time things can be edgy and there is a lot at stake.

"But the fans can play a big part at this stage and hopefully they'll give us everything right to the end".
