We knew at the start of the season that the Championship was going to be very competitive this year, but I've never known it be so close.
With two games left, almost nothing is certain in terms of automatic promotion, the play-offs or two of the bottom three places.
There are only maybe four or five teams in the whole division with nothing left to play for, which is what makes it such an exciting season.
When I looked at the teams at the start of the season, I thought you could make a case for 14 or 15 teams having a good opportunity of finishing in the top six.
That was always going to make it competitive -but nobody could have imagined it would be this close.
I've always been an advocate of the play-offs simply because the system keeps games meaningful for most of the season.
If there aren't play-offs, a lot of games in the last third of the season can mean very little.
It's certainly helped to keep the division competitive this season and the Championship has been smashing.
There have been big crowds all the way through, there's been great viewing on TV and the supporters have enjoyed it. That's very important and means it will be remembered as a great season.
And it looks as though it's going to go to the very last kick on the last day.
