GRZEGORZ Rasiak and Marek Saganowski are both in the running to play a part for Saints on Sunday.
Though Rasiak is the more likely of the Polish duo to be available for the season finale with Southend, George Burley has not totally given up hope of having Saganowski available.
Rasiak, Saints' top scorer with 20 goals this season, has been missing with a back problem and Saganowski, who fired ten goals in as many games until being injured a fortnight ago, has a groin injury.
But at the very least both would seemingly be available if Saints did reach the play-offs.
Burley said: "Grzegorz and Marek are progressing.
"They both trained yesterday with Andy Barr the physio but it's still too early to say.
"Grzegorz might have a better chance of making it than Marek but both of them are running.
"I wouldn't expect Marek to be more than a week but whether he will be ready for Sunday is very much touch and go."
