SKIPPER Claus Lundekvam has almost certainly been ruled out of the play-offs.
The popular centre half, in his testimonial year at the club, was stretchered off just before half time after falling to the ground in agony clutching his ankle.
Lundekvam was taken straight to hospital and Saints are awaiting the results of scans and x-rays. But it looks almost certain he will miss the play-off semi-finals and any potential final as well.
Saints boss George Burley said: "He's twisted his ankle. He will have scans and x-rays but it doesn't look too good as far as the next couple of weeks is concerned.
"He's certainly going to be out for a number of weeks. We can rule him out of the Derby games."
