SETH Johnson expects no change in Derby's approach tonight just because they carry a one-goal advantage going into their play-off semi-final second leg against Saints.

Johnson was handed a rare start in the first leg and played his part with a strong display in midfield.

"If you had offered us a 2-1 win beforehand, we would have taken it but there is still a long way to go in the tie," said the 28-year-old.

"It's nice to be leading but we will not change anything.

"I still think we will play our own game. If we try to change the way we play, if we try to sit back and play defensive and try to get a draw, we could be asking for trouble.

"We will go out looking to win.

"We know Southampton are a good side, and a good side away from home.

"They could actually be more dangerous in the second leg and so we must be on our game."

Saints' firepower makes them dangerous opponents. They have scored more goals on the road - 41 in 23 league fixtures - than any other Championship side this season.

The next best are champions Sunderland with 38 followed by Sheffield Wednesday's 32.

Saints boast the sixth best away record in the division behind the Rams and Sunderland.

An ankle injury is likely to rule out Danish midfielder Morten Bisgaard again while striker Paul Peschisolido faces a late fitness test on his hamstring.

Davies has not ruled out making changes for the second leg.

"It will be difficult because there were a lot of very good performances at Southampton and it was also a very good team performance," he said.

"It is tricky but I am looking at possibly freshening up in one or two areas."
