Andrew Surman praised the magnificent Saints support for contributing to a play-off epic.

Surman admitted that the 4,878 away fans in the 31,569 crowd camped behind the Derby goal in the second half of normal time helped Saints to two vital goals through Jhon Viafara and Grzegorz Rasiak.

He said: "The fans were unbelievable again.

"To have more than 4,000 of them travel up was fantastic - their chants were all we could hear.

"They were sucking the ball into the back of the net in the second half of normal time."
