New Forest Cycling Club’s Ben Boardman capped a dominant season by being named club champion.
Ben also received awards for the fastest 25 and 50-mile times as well as the Handicap Cup at the club’s annual dinner, while Sasha Ring took home the trophy for the Ten Series in Division One.
Stephen Skinner was triumphant in Division Two as well as picking up the age category fastest time over the season. Darren Ridge was the winner of Division Three in the Ten Series.
Last season’s club champion, Stuart Peckham, produced the fastest 100-mile time and the Veteran Short Distance Best All Rounder.
Paula Eardley won the female Best All Rounder trophy.
Graham Lenton was rewarded for the considerable improvement made this season and was the most improved rider and Hill Climb Champion.
Maggie Bracher was awarded Club Person of the Year for the fantastic effort and patience demonstrated throughout the season.
Stuart Grace, who represents GA Cycles during the cycling season, was the guest speaker at the dinner at Le Chanteclerc, Cadnam.
He raises vast sums of money for various charities and has a long standing friendship with recentlyretired professional cyclist Jens Voigt.
Jens very generously donated to the raffle a signed canvas photograph of his record-breaking World Hour ride in September 2014 in which he set a distance of 51.115 km.
The 44 year-old, who has two Tour de France stage victories, also supports Stuart in his fund-raising activities by participating in a local cycle ride in the New Forest every September.
The ride is limited to 100 riders and this year was in aid of the Epilepsy Society and the Oakhaven Hospice in Lymington.
It has raised more than £21,000 for charity.
