WITH the calm confidence of a seasoned professional, Shane Castle clinched a first Chandler's Ford Under-21 Roll-Up tournament win.
Trailing 2-0 to three-time champion Dan Hildyard, the nine-year-old wonderkid from Marchwood fought back to win a fifth-frame decider.
Hildyard, 16, was cruising to victory on a 42 break but went in off a black.
Castle, receiving a 42-point handicap start from the player ranked 26th on the EASB Premier Junior Tour, pounced on the mistake and won three frames on the trot to head the £1,000 rankings after two weeks' action.
