A round-up of the transfer stories making the headlines across the rest of the media today...

SAINTS are keeping tabs on Nurnberg winger Guido Burgstaller, according to the national press.

The Daily Mail report that St Mary's scout Bill Green watched the ex-Cardiff City attacker during the German outfit's 3-0 win at FSV Frankfurt.

Apparently, Saints were also watching the 26-year-old when he played for Austria in their 2-1 defeat against Turkey.

Ronald Koeman is allegdely keeping an eye on the wide man who has been impressive form this season, having scored 11 goals in 27 games in the German second tier.

He has one year left on his contract at the Frankenstadion.

The report adds that, in May 2014, Burgstaller joined Cardiff on a three-year deal from Rapid Vienna.

But things didn't go to plan and he made just five appearance for the Welsh outfit and, less than a year later, left by mutual consent.

Meanwhile, Fraser Forster, the Saints goalkeeper, has been linked with a move to Chelsea, with incoming Blues boss Antonio Conte ready to jettison current stopper Thibaut Courtois.

The Mirror, and a number of other outlets, report that Forster, who has been in impressive form since his return from long term injury, is being lined up if the Belgian departs this summer.
