NEWCASTLE defender Daryl Janmaat was left with broken fingers after punching the dressing room wall at St Mary’s, according to reports.
Janmaat was substituted in the first half of the Mapgies’ dour 3-1 defeat at Saints after slipping up and allowing Dusan Tadic to run clear, which began the move that saw Graziano Pelle make it 2-0 on 38 minutes.
And it seems the 26-year-old, who was hauled off with a groin injury, was left fuming and took his anger out on the away changing room wall.
He was later seen leaving the ground in a sling after punching the wall during a heated half-time in which the relegation-threatened Magpies came in 2-0 down.
