RONALD Koeman has once again spoken of his admiration for Barcelona and his desire for a homecoming to the Camp Nou as manager.

Koeman won the La Liga four times in a row in Johan Cruyff's famous Dream Team and scored the winner in the European Cup final against Sampdoria in 1992 during his time at the Catalan giants.

When asked about the prospect of a return, the Saints manager said:  "I like because if I go and if I come back to Barcelona it's feeling back at home and we have a fantastic understanding.

"We had a great time together in Barcelona and if one day I get the possibility of course I'd like to go back."

Koeman, who is out of contract at St Mary's in 2017 with the club hoping to extend that deal, has also been assistant manager with both Barcelona and Holland.

The national team is another job he'd consider after his spell at Saints.

"It's possible because it's still one of my ambitions," he said. "It's nice if you get the chance to be the national coach but I'm happy now at Southampton and we'll see what happens in the future."
