CHARLIE Austin has been ruled-out of Saints' trip to Everton on Saturday with a knee injury - but it's not serious.
The £4m striker is unavailable after hurting himself in the warm-up before the Newcastle victory last weekend.
The 26-year-old had only just returned from a hamstring injury but has suffered another set-back and will be back for the Aston Villa game next Saturday.
The good news is that Steven Davis, who was out of the Magpies win with an ankle problem, will be available again.
“Yes, the new injury is Charlie Austin,” said Ronald Koeman. “It happened last week in the warming up before the Newcastle game. He twisted his knee.
“It’s no damage ligaments, maybe he will be out for one more week, but he’s not available.
“Steven Davis is back. He’s available for the weekend.”
