SAINTS are among the lowest spenders on agents fees in the Premier League, according to the latest Football Association information release.
Ronald Koeman's side have spent £799,750 between October 2015 and February 2016, which puts them fifth-lowest of all 20 top-flight clubs in terms of outgoings.
A total of £46,582,843 was spent by the elite in four months.
Manchester United top the list after spending a colossal £10,023,318 on agents or intermediaries, despite not buying any players in January.
They are followed by Liverpool with the second highest total of £6,672,713. Manchester City were the third highest with payments of £5,880,098.
The lowest total in the Premier League for that period was Everton on £471,400.
The FA release the information under FIFA’s regulations on working with intermediaries - or agents in other words.
Payments made in that period may relate to deals and contract renegotiations agreed to outside of the October-February period.
Saints made one transfer in that time, with Charlie Austin arriving for £4m in the January window from QPR.
