Eastleigh manager Chris Todd has put Dan Harding on the transfer list - but midfielder/assistant manager Ben Strevens is staying at the Silverlake Stadium.
Left-back Harding, who made 110 appearances for Saints from 2009-12, signed for Eastleigh from Championship club Nottingham Forest last August.
But the 32 year-old leaves after making 33 appearances as Eastleigh reached the FA Cup third round before just missing out on the National League play-offs.
A club statement said: Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce that midfielder Ben Strevens has accepted a new contract with the club.
Ben, who was assistant manager towards the latter stages of the 2015/16 campaign will continue to Assist Chris Todd, now moves into his 4th season with the Spitfires.
The club can also announce that following conversations with manager Chris Todd, Dan Harding has now been placed on the transfer list.
