FORMER Everton boss David Moyes has already been installed as the favourite to replace Ronald Koeman at St Mary’s.
Bookies have started laying odds on who will succeed the Dutchman at Saints even before any official news that Koeman has quit to take over at Goodison Park.
William Hill have made Moyes – who was Everton boss from 2002 until 2013 – their 8/1 favourite ahead of ex-Saints striker Mark Hughes and Manuel Pellegrini, who are both 10/1.

After less than a season at Old Trafford following in Sir Alex Ferguson’s footsteps, Moyes was appointed Real Sociedad manager in November 2014.
He lasted only a year in Spain, and was sacked last November after winning just 12 of his 52 games in charge.
Pellegrini has just left Manchester City after guiding them to the Champions League semi finals in his last season at The Etihad, while Stoke have become established in the Premier League’s top half in Hughes’ three years in charge in the Potteries.
“Southampton’s last two managerial appointments have been incredibly shrewd and while David Moyes is currently the favourite, the market is very open and the decision of who to replace Ronald Koeman with - should he indeed make the move to Everton - is one the Saints board will not take lightly,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
