OVER 600 youngsters took part in the annual Hampshire & IoW Parallel Youth Games.
As usual, they were staged at the military facilities in Aldershot.
The Parallel Games are an event for young people with both learning and physical disabilities to get involved in sport and have an opportunity to compete.
The event saw competitions in athletics, basketball (3v3 and skills), boccia, football (boys' football, girls' futsal and skills) and new age kurling.
Peter Hull, the Hampshire council's disability officer, said: "Despite the weather, this has been a fantastic day that has been enjoyed greatly by competitors.
