EASTLEIGH are on the brink of selling another of their brightest young stars.
Having banked a club record fee from Bristol Rovers for 26-year-old right-back and skipper Joe Partington last week, the Spitfires are on the verge of striking a deal with a Football League club for 22-year-old wide midfielder Luke Coulson.
A statement issued from the Silverlake this morning said: “Eastleigh Football Club can today confirm that they are in receipt of an acceptable offer from a Football League club for their England C squad international midfielder Luke Coulson.
“Coulson, who joined Eastleigh this time last year from Oxford City, has been the subject of two approaches so far this month which have been turned down, but the player has now been given permission to talk to the interested party following the offer.
“We will keep spectators updated when appropriate.”
