FORMER Saints wideman Lloyd Isgrove has joined Barnsley after his release from St Mary's.
The 24-year-old played for the Oakwell outfit on loan in 2015/16, helping the Tykes to promotion from League One, scoring in a 3-1 play-off final win over Millwall.
And after seeing out the final year of his contract at Saints, the Wales international has now rejoined the Championship club.
He links up with fellow Staplewood graduate Jason McCarthy, who was brought to South Yorkshire in a £200,000 deal last month.
“I’m delighted to be back. I’ve been away for a year, so I am really happy to be back and I am looking forward to starting again," Isgrove said on his return to Barnsley.
