FORMER Saints Matthew Le Tissier, Peter Shilton, Graeme Le Saux and Jamie Redknapp are joining forces to celebrate the life of Alan Ball.
The event takes place at Milton Keynes' stadium on Sunday July 29th for The Alan Ball Memorial Cup.
Le Tissier, Shilton, Le Saux and Jamie Redknapp will be managed by ex-Saints midfielder Peter Reid and line up alongside Les Ferdinand, Dave Beasant, Des Walker, Rob Lee, Paul Merson, Steve Hodge, Paul Parker, Paul Walsh, Kevin Campbell and Alan's son, Jimmy, for the star-studded event.
Non-footballing players include Rugby World Champions Ben Cohen and Matt Dawson, former England Cricketer Alec Stewart, ex-Olympic sprinter Darren Campbell alongside singer David Gray, actors Danny Dyer, Rupert Graves, Leo Gregory, Stephen Graham, David Morrissey and John Simm, comedian Angus Deayton alongside Radio One's JK.
The World squad will include Italy's Toto Schillaci, Giuseppe Signori and Lorenzo Amoruso, Germany's Steffen Freund and Matthias Sammer, Sweden's Martin Dahlin and Pontus Kamark, Wales' Neville Southall and Republic of Ireland striker John Aldridge.
Non-footballing World players will include Kasabian frontman Serge Pizzorno, boxing Champion Joe Calzaghe, Southampton-based UK 400m record holder Iwan Thomas and Olympic sprint athlete Jamie Baulch.
Fans in attendance will also see a Battle of the Soaps' where the football teams of soap rivals including Coronation Street and Emmerdale will go head-to-head.
Tickets for The Alan Ball Memorial Cup: England v The World are priced at £30 for a Family Ticket (Two adults and two children), £12 for adults and £6 for children.
