GREGORY Vignal will be hoping things will get a little easier for him after his home debut.
The 26-year-old left back joined the club on a season long loan deal on Friday.
But he had to fly back to Paris later that day to complete the paperwork for the formalities of the transfer from Lens.
He managed four hours sleep - starting at 2am - before boarding a plane back to England on Saturday morning, where he was picked up at the airport and driven straight to St Mary's.
There he played the full 90 minutes.
A weary Vignal said: "I am very happy for me. It was very important to be here and it was a long trip.
"I came over on Friday morning and trained and signed some paperwork and then flew back to Paris where I had paperwork to sign with Lens."
