HAMPSHIRE'S James Wade won the biggest darts match of his life when he picked up the Stan James World Matchplay title at Blackpool on Saturday.
The Aldershot arrows ace collected £50,000 and almost certainly booked himself a place in next year's Premier League by moving to third place in the Professional Darts Corporation rankings - behind Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld.
Wade took on in-form Terry Jenkins from Herefordshire in the final and destroyed him 18-7 with a display that almost matched his stunning semi victory over Adrian Lewis.
