FA Vase winners, past and present, will meet in a friendly in July.
The highlight of Sholing’s pre-season programme is a visit from Danny Robinson’s Thatcham Town who proudly lifted lower non-league’s most prestigious trophy at Wembley last weekend.
The Berkshire club – former members of the Sydenhams Wessex League – beat Stockton Town 1-0.
Thatcham’s triumph came just four years after Sholing had completed their own joyous March to the Arch.
Back in 2014, the Boatmen also got the champagne corks popping with 1-0 victory over West Auckland Town.
Sholing will begin their build-up to the new Sydenhams Premier season with three away games - at Fawley AFC (July 4), Andover Town (July 12) and promoted Wessex champions Blackfield & Langley (July 14).
Thatcham – promoted Hellenic Premier champions - then visit Sholing’s Universal Stadium on July 16, followed by Winchester City (July 20).
