ADAM HAMMILL has rubbished suggestions he is unhappy at Saints.
The on-loan left-winger from Liverpool believes he can use his time at Saints to show Anfield boss Rafa Benitez just what he is capable of.
Hammill has followed in the footsteps of Liverpool midfielder Danny Guthrie, who impressed during his time on loan with Saints last season.
And Hammill can't wait to get his first start under George Burley - despite talk that he's told his parent club he is unhappy at St Mary's.
He said: "I have settled in well but have just been held back by a couple of niggling injuries I picked up in the pre-season tour of Norway.
"I played as a substitute against both Crystal Palace and Norwich and I'm slowly getting back to full fitness.
"I'm still confident we can turn things round quickly here despite our poor start. With the ability in the squad, we're still aiming for our target of promotion."
