NURSLING FC are starting afresh in the Southampton Saturday Senior League Division One after finishing bottom of the Premier Division and not fulfilling their fixtures.
Chairman Andrew Clark has appointed Colin Plumhoff to manage the senior side with the understanding that no players from a disastrous 2017/18 campaign will be re-signing.
This represents a huge challenge for Plumhoff as he has only five weeks to get a brand new side up and running.
Plumhoff, who includes Burridge among his former clubs, has rebuilt teams in the past, but with more time available. Nursling is a bigger challenge as he currently has no players signed on.
A few players are showing interest but he needs more turning up for training.
If anyone is interested please contact Plumhoff on 07949 066946.
The club is also looking to put together a committee to help out on matchdays and organise events during the season.
Chairman Andrew Clark (07881 526882) is the man to contact if you would like to help form a committee or to sponsor the club.
