GEORGE Burley felt his side could have hit double figures at QPR but is reeling from a fresh injury blow.

Saints romped to a 3-0 win and had enough chances to run up a huge score at Loftus Road.

Burley was delighted not only with the three points but the manner of the victory and said: "It was another excellent performance and that's three games we've played really well after a poor first game.

"We scored three goals away from home and it could have been double figures.

"Against Norwich in our last away game we were well in command and missed out.

"We played in the same manner here and if it wasn't for Lee Camp it could have been double figures.

"It was amazing to create so many clear cut chances away from home and I'm pleased with the first clean sheet of the season."

However, it's not all good news as after the game Burley confirmed captain Claus Lundekvam needs an operation on his ankle next week that will keep him out for two-three months.
