For Rudi Skacel the equation is simple - two home games this week must equal six points for Saints.
The midfielder, who has impressed in the left-back role this season, returns to the Saints squad for tonight's home league clash with Colchester, after a four weeks out with a knee injury.
And with Barnsley also due at St Mary's on Saturday, Saints are desperate to get things back on track with a maximum points haul from the home double-header following Sunday's late loss at Watford.
The 28-year-old Czech said: "I think everybody is looking forward to playing Colchester and we desperately need three points. It will be another tough game, but we are playing at home and need three points.
"It's simple. We must do everything for a good result - have a good start and score some goals.
"We have two home games this week and we need six points."
