Brokenhurst Manor's Bruce Parker snatched victory with an eagle at the thirty-sixth and final hole of the Hampshire PGA Championship at Basingstoke Golf Club.
After finding the green at the par 5 18th with a five iron second shot Parker then holed a 30 foot eagle putt to snatch victory by a single shot from his former assistant James Pitcher (Romsey).
Parker had played the back nine at Basingstoke in a meagre 30 shots, which included just 11 putts. It was his first Hampshire PGA major' title, after eight years of trying.
