DARTS’ most famous rivalry will be reignited for an exciting night of corporate entertainment when legendary arrows’ aces Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld clash at the Ageas Bowl next month.
Sixteen-times world champion Taylor will take on old adversary ‘Barney’ on Wednesday, November 21.
Taylor dominated professional darts for almost three decades and his battles with van Barneveld, including two World Championship finals, were box office events around the world.
Van Barneveld boasts a proud record of major titles, including five World Championship triumphs – only Taylor holds more.
“Playing Barney gets the adrenaline going,” admitted Taylor. “I’m really looking forward to the night, mixing with the people and playing an opponent who always brings out the best in me, as I do in him.”
Other top names, including Australian Simon Whitlock, will also be on the oche.
