STEVE Claridge's Salisbury have completed the loan signing of pacy, young Saints winger Siphesihle Mdlalose.
The 20-year-old South African will be with the Whites until the end of the season as they look to home in on promotion from the Evo-Stik South Premier Division.
Born in Durban, Mdlalose left South Africa as a child when his mother got a job in the UK.
It was after he had scored four goals in a local cup final, playing for Meon Milton, that Saints snapped him up.
Mdlalose progressed through the St Mary's academy and subsequently played in the U18 set-up at the age of 16.
He signed his first professional contract for Saints in the summer of 2017.
Mdlalose will be available for Salisbury's trip to Hendon tomorrow.
Claridge said: “Mdlalose is a very quick, attacking player, and we are very pleased to have him on board.”
"I would like to thank Southampton for their assistance."
