A HAMPSHRIE 12-year-old with cerebral palsy spent time with the captain of Southampton Football Club, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Joe Grant regularly attends the Saints Foundation’s regional talent hub and the invite-only advanced coaching centre, and has been described by the club as “a player with huge potential”.
He was joined by the Danish midfielder to complete drills and ask questions about his footballing career.
Joe, from Alresford, said: “I get treated like a normal player at the Saints Foundation. I love football and the foundation has given me good opportunity to play.”
The youngster plays for Alresford Town Youth Football Club and wants to play for England’s cerebral palsy team, as well as compete at the Paralympics.
