WOLVES have dropped their interest in Mario Lemina, according to the Express & Star.
Nuno Espirito Santo is said to want to bolster his midfield department before the transfer window closes tomorrow [Thursday] at 5pm.
It's claimed Wolves' stance was that they wanted to take Lemina on loan with an option to buy but, as reported last month by the Daily Echo, Saints wanted a straight sale.
I gather Wolves have moved on from Mario Lemina. Saints refused to budge on their stance, insisting on a sale. Wolves weren't convinced and wanted a loan plus option #wwfc

Lemina has been itching for a move away from the club since the end of last season when he made it clear that he wanted a new challenge.
This saw him tell France Football: "I’m not afraid, I made a choice and I take it to the end.
"I stand by my plan, I decided to tell the leaders that I wanted to leave, there is no turning back.
"There is a risk, of course, but I know what I’m capable of, I’m 100 per cent and I’m going to prove that I can get back to my best."
The Gabon international has been excluded from all first team duties and has also lost his place in the club's dressing room at Staplewood.
Given that the English transfer window is coming to a close, Lemina's best bet of sealing a move away from Saints will be to a foreign club.
