Ben Strevens was left to rue yet more injury problems as Eastleigh were beaten 3-1 at Fylde.
Already missing several players through injury while others started despite problems, Strevens now has doubts over Jack McKnight and Scott Rendall ahead of a trip to Torquay tomorrow night.
He said: “Everyone needs a winning run but before today we were one defeat in six.
“It was frustrating to lose but every team needs a winning run.
“It’s quite tough at the moment. We have got a lot of injuries and a lot of players playing through injuries to get themselves out there.
“I certainly felt we lacked a little bit of experience with some of the boys we had missing but it’s one of things and you have to get on with it.
“Jack is obviously struggling and he was nearly coming on at half time and I had to take him off.
“Rends has come in and been struggling with his hamstring and is feeling it a little bit so we will have to assess those two and see how they are.”
Eastleigh were unfortunate not to go ahead in the first half as they hit the bar and Fylde took advantage with Dan Bradley scoring on 34 minutes.
The Spitfires levelled up three minutes after the restart through Danny Holland but goals from Jordan Williams and Ryan Croasdale condemned them to defeat.
“It is tough to take having lost 3-1,” reflected Strevens.
“First half was very even and we could have scored from a set-piece which hit the crossbar and they have scored from a massive deflection. To go in 1-0 down at half time I didn’t think we deserved that.
“We got back level at 1-1 fairly early in the second half and from there we conceded two goals and right now I’m not too happy about both.”
