SAINTS boss Ralph Hasenhuttl confirmed winger Nathan Redmond would miss Sunday’s home Premier League clash with Manchester United with a hamstring injury.
Redmond was not included in Saints’ squad for their 1-1 draw at Wolves as a precautionary measure, due to the problem.
But Hasenhuttl revealed post-match he would be out for between seven to 10 days – ruling him out of the battle with the Red Devils.
Asked for an update on the former Norwich star, the manager said: “It will be seven to ten days so for Sunday, I don't think so.
"It was a small injury but definitely a hamstring injury.
"It has not been his best season so far.
“He has had problems with his body and this is definitely a player that we will miss."
