SAINTS will face Leicester City in the semi-finals of the FA Cup next month after the draw was made for the last four.

The St Mary’s side were ball number two in this evening’s draw, having overcome Championship outfit Bournemouth in the last eight with a 3-0 victory on Saturday.

A Nathan Redmond double along with Moussa Djenepo’s opener gave Saints their latest victory in the competition.

It has been an impressive run from Ralph Hasenhuttl's men, defeating Shrewsbury Town, Arsenal and Wolves before knocking out Cherries to reach the last four.

They are still yet to concede a goal in this season's competition.

Saints, winners of the FA Cup in 1976, last reached the semi-finals in 2018. Their most recent final appearance came against Arsenal at Millennium Stadium in 2003.

Semi-final ties will be played over the weekend of Saturday, April 17.

Leicester this evening overcame Manchester United 3-1 to book their place in the last four.
