THE 2021-22 Premier League season will begin on the weekend of August 14.
After a condensed 2020-21 campaign due to the coronavirus pandemic, the league announced it will revert to its usual starting slot in the second week of August.
The season will conclude on 22 May 2022, with all 10 games kicking off simultaneously.
This current Premier League season is due to end on Sunday, May 23.
Saints will be hopeful of still competing in the top flight, currently sitting 14th in the table.
They are seven points clear of the relegation zone, with a game in hand on 18th-placed Fulham.
Saints return to action on Sunday, April 4, hosting Burnley.
