SAINTS will reignite their interest in Manchester United defender Brandon Williams in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
It is understood Ralph Hasenhuttl had been keen to add the 20-year-old to his squad in January, but United were unwilling to let him leave.
And according to both The Sun and The Athletic, Williams remains of interest to Saints.
The Manchester-born talent has featured 10 times for his boyhood club this season, but has only managed seven minutes of Premier League action.
Saints look set for a ninth consecutive season in the top flight in the next campaign, after Sunday's come-from-behind win over Burnley moved them 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
And plans are being put in place to bolster Hasenhuttl's squad.
Full-back appears to be a keen area of interest with Kyle Walker-Peters and Ryan Bertrand, whose contract expires in the summer, the only two senior players in the Saints squad occupying those positions.
Other names linked with Saints include Neco Williams of Liverpool and Brentford left-back Rico Henry.
