SAINTS have confirmed a new date for their clash against Leeds United at St Mary’s – and home fans could be in attendance.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men are now set to take on the Yorkshire outfit on Tuesday, May 18 (6pm) live on Sky Sports.
Home fans will be allowed into matches for the final two rounds of top-flight games, provided the Government goes ahead with the planned easing of coronavirus restrictions on May 17.
A statement from Saints said: “The Premier League last week confirmed fixtures would be rescheduled so that match rounds 37 and 38 would provide clubs the opportunity to welcome fans subject to the Government easing lockdown restrictions, with it since being confirmed this would be limited to home supporters only.
“The club has been preparing for this eventuality and will update fans on any entry and ticketing details for the Leeds game once any relevant information is available.”
Meanwhile, Saints’ home clash against Crystal Palace on Tuesday has seen the kick-off time put back to 8.15pm.
